Mother’s Day Brunch — Thank You!

Thank you so much to Jack Pierce for coordinating our annual Mother’s Day Brunch, and thank you to all who cooked, served and cleaned up so we could have such a delicious Brunch and wonderful time. We really appreciate it!

    Summer Music Opportunity

We have an opportunity to include music in our Summer services but we need donations to make it possible. The cost is $200 per week starting July 22 and potentially lasting for 6 weeks. If you would like to help us add music this Summer, please make a donation and clearly indicate that it is for “Summer Music”.

    Community Outreach

In an effort to get the word out to the community about all we do here at St. Luke’s, we will be operating an information table at the Farmer’s Market this Summer. We will be handing out brochures about our parish and offering a free raffle of a plant each week. Please volunteer for a Saturday (June-August 10am-12pm) to sit at our St. Luke's Table. Contact the office or sign up in the Parish Hall.

    Sunday School News

The last day of Sunday School will be Sunday, June 10. We will begin our Summer schedule of one 9:00 am service on Sunday, June 17. We take a break from Sunday School in the Summer, but children of all ages are welcomed at our 9:00 am Sunday service. Sunday School will begin again on September 9, complete with our annual Welcome Back Picnic.

    Attention Graduating Seniors

The Nancy Lyerly fund was established in the name of the late Nancy Lyerly, a St. Luke's Parishioner, by her family to give graduating high school seniors a small stipend ($250) to send them off to higher education. To apply, send a letter to Father Charlie letting him know that you are graduating and telling him about your plans for the next year.
