    Adopt-A-Family For Christmas

St. Luke's assignment for families in the Diocesan-wide "Adopt-A-Family" for the Christmas holiday will be announced as soon as we receive the information! We should receive that information at the beginning of November. Your co-chairs will prepare the index cards and sign-up sheets within a few days of our assignments, so look for announcements at church services and in the November Shepherd.

    Fall Bazaar

Our Annual Fall Bazaar is quickly approaching on Saturday, November 4! We are beginning to collect donations of raffle items and baskets of goods (we keep the value of the baskets at $50 to $75).

All items must be new. Some ideas are:

    • Gift cards to restaurants, shops, nail or hair salons, barbers, etc.
    • Wines and other accessories
    • Holiday décor items
    • Jewelry
    • Sports items (golf, tennis, soccer, etc.)
    • Toys (babies through school age)
    • Items that would appeal to teens

We need volunteers to work at the booths and help serve lunch. To volunteer for a shift, please sign up on our signup sheet in the Parish Hall or contact the Parish Office.

    Fundraising Committee News

Mini-Mart is next Saturday! As in past years, we will be selling homemade empanadas, churros, and water. We need help setting up, cleaning up, and transporting food from the Church kitchen to the booth. If you can help, please speak with Kristine Janusas.

We are quickly approaching the two most important fund raisers of the year. Towards the end of October, the Every Member Canvas will be in the mail. On Saturday, November 3rd is the annual Bazaar. Please support these activities to the best of your ability. Thank you.
